Press on nails are high quality artificial nails that come in many styles to match your preferences, and can be applied within minutes from home.

They are attached to the natural nails using adhesive glue or tabs, and are designed to be a more affordable & less damaging alternative to traditional acrylic or gel nails.

Here's a step-by-step guide to help you achieve flawless, salon-quality nails at home.

Step 1: Prepare Your Nails

• Remove any old polish 
• Gently buff the surface of your nails
• Use the alcohol pad provided to wipe each nail to remove excess oils

Step 2: Pick the Right Size

• Select press on nail sizes that fit your natural nails. Tip: they should not extend past your nail bed, or be too small otherwise your fingernails will feel pinched! This also prevents dirt or water from getting underneath your press ons
• Lay out the press on nails in order from thumb to pinkie

Step 3: Apply the Adhesive

• Apply a small amount of adhesive glue to the back of the press on nail. Be careful not to get any on your hands or put too much as it spreads once you push the nail on.
• If you prefer to use the adhesive tab, make sure you find the right size for each nail (slightly smaller than your nail bed). Apply the adhesive tab close to your cuticle.

Step 4: Apply the Press On Nails

• Gently press the press on nail onto your natural nail, starting at your cuticle and working your way to the tip
• Hold the nail in place for at least 30 seconds to secure and to remove air bubbles

Step 5: Finishing Touches

• File the press on nails to your desired shape and length
• Avoid washing your hands for an hour while your fresh nails bond with the glue

Soak Your Nails

Let your nails soak for 10-15 minutes in warm water mixed with some hand soap or oil (you can use olive oil, coconut oil or vitamin e oil) to loosen the adhesive.

Remove the Press On Nails

Once the adhesive has loosened, gently push off the press on nails from your natural nails using the cuticle stick provided. If the nails do not come off easily, soak them for a few more minutes and try again.

Moisturise Your Nails

After removing the press on nails, use cuticle oil or lotion to moisturise your nails and cuticles. This will help restore any moisture lost during the removal process and promote healthy nail growth.

Adhesive glue

Adhesive glue is usually stronger than adhesive tabs and can last for up to two weeks without needing to be reapplied. However, it can be more difficult to remove. It also requires some skill to apply, and can be messy if not done carefully.

Adhesive tabs

These are a quick and easy option for those who want to change up their nails frequently or wear them for a short period of time. Adhesive tabs can be easily removed without damaging the natural nail, making them a great option for those who are looking for a temporary solution.

However, adhesive tabs may not last as long as adhesive glue, and may need to be reapplied more frequently. They also may not be as strong, making them less suitable for those with oily or sweaty hands.

Of course! The press on nails can be clipped and filed to any shape or length you desire.

We recommend waiting 2-3 hours until they have fully bonded onto your nail before cutting or filing the shape, to ensure they don't pop off.
